Monohull sailboat of 13.80 m designed by architect Guy Ribadeau Dumas, amateur construction of very high level carried out in 2005, never launched nor used since its construction.
The Surf 45 belongs to the category of light displacement sailboats (≈ 4.5 t announced), with a narrow, high-performance hull, aiming to offer high performance and true sailing pleasure, while maintaining the economic and structural advantages of a monohull.
This model has been the subject of a detailed publication in Voiles et Voiliers magazine, describing the concept, naval architecture, and various rig options.
