Jeanneau Sun Shine 36
Beschreibung
Built in 1983 by Jeanneau, the hull of the Sun Shine 36 was designed by Tony Castro with a racing spirit. However, the interior layout provides true comfort for cruising. Since purchasing in December 2023, I have continuously renovated this boat named Nausicaä. As a professional sailor, I worked diligently and zealously on this renovation, which cost me nearly €25,000 in materials and a year of work where I did not count my hours. My goal was to make it a performant, pleasant, and durable boat.

Complete wiring redone
Lighting fixtures replaced
Replacement of battery bank and standardization
Installation of a 200W solar panel and power regulator
220V circuit throughout the boat, functioning at port or via inverter
Ventilation
Installation of a complete ventilation system with cooling fans
Installation of intake and exhaust ducts in the engine room
Insulation
Interior hull completely stripped
Application of cork spray on the walls (Soliège)
Gluing of cork panels over

Installation of fixation battens on all walls
Custom creation of light varnished wood paneling with epoxy finish

Sanding and re-varnishing interior woods

Cutting new foams
Custom waterproof fabric covers for the saloon and linen for the berths

Freshwater pump replaced
Creation of a shower water evacuation circuit
Replacement of seawater and freshwater pumps

Replacement of the stove-oven on the deck
Re-sealing of the fridge compartment
Replacement of the cooler unit with a new one (Vitrifrigo)
Deck
Replacement of almost all hardware
Replacement of some chandeliers and bases
Re-sealing the deck
Replacement of plexiglass, deck panels, and portholes
Creation and installation of a granny rig
Installation of a rear bathing platform

Installation of AIS transmit and receive system
Installation of Raymarine plotter with Mediterranean-Atlantic cartography
Replacement of autopilot with a new one
