FLOKICAT — Lagoon 42, 2021, owner version, never rented

In the Lagoon 42 market, most boats come from rental fleets. FLOKICAT, however, has only ever been owned by its owners. Launched in June 2021 after construction in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie (hull number 561), it has been maintained as if it were its own boat: only 650 hours on each engine, new bedding, and a bright interior with light wood flooring and LED lighting, which looks brand new.

It is the owner version with four cabins, two skipper berths in the forward peaks, never used. The two aft cabins have 160 × 200 beds, the two forward cabins have 140 × 200 beds, all with slatted bases. Each cabin has its own bathroom with shower and electric WC. All are air-conditioned, including the saloon. You can leave with ten people on board without anyone getting in each other’s way, and life onboard is comfortable both in summer and during the shoulder seasons.

The autonomy has been designed for offshore cruising. The Onan 11 kW generator, 1,400 W of solar panels, a 150 l/h desalination unit, and a battery park updated in 2024 allow extended anchoring without needing a dock. Equipment at the chart table and helm station include comprehensive B&G electronics: two 12-inch Zeus screens, Halo20+ radar, Forward Scan, autopilot, AIS, and Navionics 2025 cartography.

Under sail, the full batten boom mainsail with lazy bag and the Code Zero on a bowsprit with a furler make the Lagoon 42 a truly performance-oriented boat. Two electric winches facilitate maneuvers. On board, enjoy a large cockpit with cushions and sunbathing area, teak deck, outdoor shower, and Fusion sound system both inside and outside.

The boat is ready to sail: rigging checked in 2025, engines serviced, DAN insurance valid, manuals in French and English.

The boat is sold with its transferable dry dock space — a real advantage given the scarcity of berths on the coast. It is owned through a company and listed tax-free: for a corporate buyer, VAT is recoverable; for a buyer outside the European Union, export allows purchase excluding VAT. For a private individual residing in the EU, 20% VAT is added to the listed price.
