Lagoon 42

Launched in 2016, this Lagoon 42 is presented in its owner’s version, the most sought-after configuration in the series: a full-beam hull dedicated to the owner's suite, with its bathroom and separate shower, while the guest cabins occupy the second hull. Designed by VPLP, it offers living volumes of a cruising catamaran on a 12.80-meter by 7.70-meter platform, rated Category A. Second-hand, it has been prepared by its current owners for liveaboard and autonomous cruising.

Several major updates have been recently carried out. The engine was extensively serviced in 2026, including the replacement of the heat exchanger and the reconditioning of the sail drive seal, two interventions that ensure the boat's reliability over time. The trampolines have been replaced with a new set in black, and the seat cushions have been reupholstered and redone this year. The boat thus presents with its main wear points already addressed.

The propulsion is provided by two Yanmar sail drives engines, totaling approximately 2,200 hours. The sloop rig with an aluminum mast carries a mainsail on a lazy bag and a roller genoa, all operated from the elevated helm station, within reach of the winches and reefing lines.

The cockpit is protected by a hard top covering the entire outdoor living area. It is finished with teak, as are the side decks, and extended at the aft by a stainless steel arch equipped with mooring bits. The dinghy is constantly stored on board with its outboard engine on a dedicated support, leaving the flaps free for water access. At the bow, the new trampolines and the deck platform create a second relaxation space, served by an electric windlass.

The interior features a large glazed saloon with an L-shaped settee, dining table, and flat-screen TV. The galley is located in its extension, equipped with cooktop, built-in oven, and stainless steel sink on a dark countertop. The two meters of headroom under the beams and the panoramic windows provide an unusually bright space for this size of vessel.

The navigation electronics are from B&G, with a multifunction display at the helm station, repeater displays, autopilot, and course compass. The electrical panel and battery bank controller are located at the top of the companionway. The boat has also been fitted by its owners with solar panels, a battery bank designed for autonomy, a watermaker, and a satellite internet connection, all installed for long-term anchoring.

The hot water system, pressure water pump, and service components are accessible from the technical lockers. The boat sails under French flag. Details of additional equipment and interventions carried out are available upon request.
