The Pilot420 is a port utility boat from 3D Tender, designed by naval architect Samy Boubezari.
The Pilot420 specializes in assisting port maneuvers for boats of all sizes. Its compact design and shallow draft allow it to operate in the most difficult-to-access areas.
It features a rounded bow, called a "marotte," allowing it to perform as a push boat. Its flat bottom, good width-to-length ratio, and hull design provide excellent stability and maneuverability at sea.
The boat is extremely robust with its 5mm thick Aluminum H5083 hull and a dense 3mm internal structure. Its 20cm PU reinforcement around the hull offers maximum protection in case of contact, without marking other boats.
Structural plans were approved by the classification society Bureau Veritas.
The Pilot 420 is equipped with two towing posts, one at the front and one at the rear, directly connected to the boat's structure. It also features a pilot console, a comfortable bolster seat with double storage, four mooring cleats (two forward and two aft), non-slip EVA decking, two large front lockers, a 60L tank, a large work platform at the bow, and an anchor well.
For safety, handrails surround the Pilot 420. This boat is self-draining.
On request, the Pilot 420 hull can be made in other colors, and the PU protection can be provided in white.
