The Pilot560 is a port service boat from the brand 3D Tender, designed by architect Samy Boubezari.
The Pilot560 specializes in aiding the maneuvering of boats of all sizes in port. Its compact shape and shallow draft allow it to operate in the most difficult access areas.
It features a rounded bow, known as "marotte," which enables it to perform its function as a tugboat. Its good width/length ratio and the V-shape of its evolving hull provide excellent stability and maneuverability at sea.
The boat is extremely robust with its 4mm thick H5083 aluminum hull and a dense internal structure of 3mm. Its 15 cm PU reinforcement all around the hull offers maximum protection in case of contact without damaging other boats.
Structural plans have been approved by the classification society Bureau Veritas.
The Pilot 560 is equipped with two tow rings, one at the front and one at the rear, directly linked to the boat's structure. It also features a helm console with storage and attached seat, a comfortable bolster seat with double storage, six mooring cleats (two at the front, two in the middle, and two at the rear), non-slip EVA coating, two large rear lockers with seats, two large front lockers, a 90L tank, a large work platform at the bow, and a mooring bail.
To ensure safety, handrails are present all around the Pilot 560. This boat is self-bailing.
