Balance and performance.
Designed by architect J.M. Finot, the First 28 perfectly continues the legacy of the First series: fast and safe boats.
The tapered entries and generous shapes at the stern of the First 28 reflect the architect's choices favoring a boat with moderate displacement and exceptional performance.
The hull with significant form stability allows for a ballast ratio of 40%, giving the boat great stiffness under sail from the initial angles of heel. Easy to handle steering, balanced both sailing upwind and downwind, the First 28 is a delicate and dynamic vessel.
