Balance and performance.
Designed by architect J.M. Finot, the First 28 perfectly continues the tradition of the First line: fast and safe boats.
The pinched entries and generous stern shapes of the First 28 reflect the architect's choices in favor of a boat with moderate displacement and exceptionally high performance.
The hull with significant form stability allowed for a 40% lead ratio, giving the boat great rigidity under sail from the first angles of heel. Easy to handle, balanced both close-hauled and reaching, the First 28 is a delicate and dynamic boat.
