This BENETEAU OCEANIS 400 from 1996 has recently benefited from many updated features: fixed rigging from December 2025, 2024 furling mainsail, 2026 electric windlass, 2026 roof cover and bimini, 2026 batteries and 2025 solar panels.
With its 11.78 meters in length for 3.95 meters in beam, the Oceanis 400 offers generous volume and true cruising capacity. Its interior layout includes 3 cabins, 6 berths and 2 shower rooms, a configuration particularly suited for family use or a multi-person travel itinerary.
Power is provided by a 50 hp Yanmar diesel engine currently showing 4,790 hours (increasing), with a fuel capacity of 150 liters.
For transparency, it is also important to note that the hull currently has a few osmosis blisters. This point will naturally need to be considered by the future buyer and can be more precisely assessed during a survey.
The sail plan is particularly complete. The furling mainsail dates from 2024, the furling genoa dates from 2014 with UV band reworked in 2025, and the boat also has a symmetric spinnaker with whisker pole, as well as a boom brake. The fixed rigging was replaced in December 2025, representing a significant investment on a yacht of this generation.
For sailing, the equipment includes in particular a Garmin GPSMAP 7410 GPS, a Garmin radar, a Raymarine autopilot, a Raymarine ST60 log-speedometer-depth sounder combo, and a Raymarine ST60 wind vane-anemometer combo.
Manoeuvring is made easier thanks to the presence of a bow thruster and a 2026 electric windlass. The boat also has two anchorings, a manual mast crane, a manual gangway, a transom platform, and a fixed aft deck.
The teak cockpit features a 2026 bimini and 2026 roof cover.
Inside, the boat has 230 liters of fresh water, engine and 220 V hot water, a galley with two-burner gas hob, a seawater pump and a 12 V refrigerator with the refrigeration unit installed in 2024.
The electrical system has also seen recent investments with 3 service batteries from 2026, a 2026 engine battery and a 2026 thruster battery. Two removable flexible solar panels of 130 W each, installed in 2025, complete the setup.
An additional dinghy is also on board.
This used Oceanis 400 will be of particular interest to a buyer looking for a spacious and comfortable sailboat, with many recent upgrades, while having a clear view of the items to monitor and to integrate into their purchase project.
