On a stunning hull over 17 meters long, the architect duo Roberto Biscontini and Lorenzo Argento focused on providing maximum comfort, smooth movement and maneuvers under sail, and high-end refined finishes.
The Oceanis Yacht 54 paves the way for a new generation of cruisers with an optimized cockpit equipped with navigation aids, known as Easy Sailing. Through its design and habitability, this new cruiser easily handled with a small crew remains perfectly within the Oceanis DNA with the added attention to detail and carefully chosen materials that make it a true cruising yacht.
Exterior Design
Featuring a plumb bow but with volume forward and a recessed beam (5 meters), the Oceanis Yacht 54 displays a modern and perfectly balanced hull designed to deliver maximum pleasure under sail. On deck, especially around the cockpit, special attention was given to circulation so that nothing impedes crew movement.
The Oceanis Yacht 54 is indeed an evolution of the traditional center cockpit. It retains the advantages in terms of safety and movement, and innovates with flush-level circulation. The ergonomics of the coamings and the proper height of the bulwarks ensure optimal safety and significant comfort for offshore sailing. From the top of the companionway and its sunbathing areas, access to the transom remains intuitive between the two cockpit tables, then the two wheel steering stations, each equipped with a comfortable seat.
Access to the sea is via the spacious bathing platform which allows storage of an inflatable tender 2.40 m long under the cockpit. The Oceanis Yacht 54 is available in two draft versions (2.50 m standard, 1.95 m optional) and two mast types (classic or furling).
Interior Design
Bringing in maximum light while ensuring excellent ventilation, creating an atmosphere that is both warm and modern, was the creed of architect Lorenzo Argento.
The numerous portholes and deck panels, the layout featuring a proper chart table and a large saloon table comfortably seating six people make up the interior of the Oceanis Yacht 54, which the future owner can choose in light oak or walnut.
Two versions are offered: three cabins and two heads, or three cabins and three heads with an XXL owner’s cabin forward, featuring walk-around access to the double bed 1.60 m wide.
