Carnon Plage Voilier 1982
The Vagabond 47 is a 14.2-meter monohull sailboat designed by William Garden and built by Blue Water Yacht Builders Ltd. William Garden, master of the raised aft deck, gave this model its particularly attractive appearance. We have taken great care to preserve its original design. The hulls are constructed from solid fiberglass and resin, with a long integrated keel and fixed rudder. On the deck, the Vagabond 47 features a spacious central cockpit, a raised aft deck that accommodates a table with chairs. Wide side decks and deep pulpit rails are among the features that explain its popularity as a bluewater cruiser. The interior layout includes a forward cabin with double berths, followed by a bathroom and main salon. The engine room is located centrally under the cockpit; the galley is located to port and access to the aft cabin is via port. The aft / master cabin is located beneath the aft deck and features a large double berth with separate toilet and shower. On starboard, there is a cabin with bunk beds. The tanks are located beneath the deck, providing incredible storage space everywhere. The Vagabond 47 is a very interesting, highly livable, and comfortable boat for long cruises.
