Designed by Michel Bigoin and built by CNSO, the Mikado is one of the first large production boats. More than 100 Mikados were built in the 1970s - the Mikado is a safe bet. Seaworthy, sturdy, and reassuring, it is an excellent offshore sailboat. The construction is solid, and the two watertight bulkheads contribute to safety on board. The divided sail plan allows for easier maneuvers and enables balancing the boat on all points of sail. This boat was prepared by its owners for a long voyage that did not happen.
