Very solid construction (designed for offshore sailing).
Good balance and safe handling, particularly appreciated in bluewater cruising.
Ketch rig facilitating sail reduction and long passages.
Quality wooden interiors, spacious and well designed for the time.
Reputation as a “reliable ocean cruiser”: many units have completed major voyages (transatlantic crossings, circumnavigations).
It is a classic bluewater cruising sailboat, highly sought after by lovers of robust and seaworthy boats.
I am selling my CONTEST 36 KETCH as I now spend more time in French Polynesia than in Brittany.
It bears the serial number: 20
It is a boat to be updated for a passionate and handy enthusiast.
The central cockpit is comfortable and safe for sailing.
I have no precise inventory or survey for my sailboat, but there is a complete set of sails in fair used condition, a nice dodger, sun shades.
A Raymarine autopilot with ST 6002 repeater,
A depth sounder, a QUICK vertical electric windlass,
An inflatable tender, an inboard VOLVO PENTA engine of approximately 39 hp that runs well!
The boat is visible at Lézardrieux on land at ARMOR PLAISANCE yard.

Sails and cushions are not on board and are stored elsewhere in dry conditions.
