I bought my Cranchi 50 Mediterranee a few years ago and I am very, very satisfied with it. It has always given me pleasure, whether sailing or at anchor. With its Open configuration in summer, we are always well ventilated and in the piloting position I have a very clear forward view. With its 3 double cabins, wide and comfortable cockpit, and tender garage, it perfectly meets my expectations for family use during the summer season and throughout the year on weekends.
I have always had the mechanical maintenance done regularly to have no problems at sea with the family. Recently, the heat exchangers were removed and cleaned, the exhaust manifolds were refurbished, and that's not all: the cockpit and foredeck locker lids have been fitted with synthetic teak (no maintenance required anymore). The tender garage can accommodate a 3.5 m tender. I am changing my Mediterranee 50 for a slightly larger Open. You always want more when you have tasted the joys of Open sailing.
