Derived from a handcrafted amateur construction meticulously assembled in Marseille in 1985, Khaya is a cruising-racing sailboat featuring a molded epoxy wooden hull that demonstrates solid craftsmanship and ensures good seaworthiness. Equipped with a deep, narrow keel combined with a separate rudder, it provides precise and enjoyable steering. Its low, sleek lines give it an elegant silhouette, imbued with the charm of its era.
Inside, the space remains simple but warm, with exposed woodwork reminiscent of traditional sailing boats. The cockpit, intimate in design, allows the helmsman to be close to sensations and the marine environment.
Its name, Khaya, meaning "mahogany," reflects the spirit of the boat: a boat with a strong character, full of history, intended for enthusiasts looking to own an authentic vessel and continue its evolution through new sailing projects.
