Custom Plan Sergent
Magnificent Sergent Plan from 1955, labeled as a Heritage Interest Vessel (BIP)
This sailboat, steeped in history, was designed and built in 1955 by François Sergent, a renowned French naval architect who significantly contributed to the development of yachting in France. To preserve this heritage, the original plans of the boat have been carefully kept and will be handed over to you in person.
La Railleuse is an exceptional sailboat equipped with a cutter rig, offering great adaptability to weather conditions. It was built using traditional techniques of the time, favoring noble materials such as solid wood for the main structure and Oregon pine for the mast, chosen for its lightness and strength.
In 2013, the sailboat spent 4 months at the Charpentiers Reunis yard in La Ciotat, where the framework and hull were fully restored to give it new life.
La Railleuse is a boat designed for traditional navigation enthusiasts seeking an authentic experience.
It is now just waiting for a new passionate owner.
