Offshore Ketch built in steel of the Le Sagien type, constructed by Etablissement Petre (France).
The hull was made in 1981, but the boat was only finished and launched in 1996 by its second owner.
The boat was prepared for a long voyage and sailed from France to the Caribbean.
It was then purchased by its penultimate owner in 2007, who equipped it for extended navigation with friends.
Owned by its current owner, ABITIBI crossed the Pacific from east to west and west to east.
After passing through Patagonia, the boat crossed the South Atlantic and is currently in France / Mediterranean.
All-latitude offshore steel ketch, very comfortable, seaworthy, and fast.

Mast and rigging replaced in 2013.
