1996 Destrier Sagien 56
Construction of a bluewater Ketch made of steel, of the Le Sagien type, built by Etablissement Petre (France). The hull was built in 1981, but the boat was only finished and launched in 1996 by its second owner. The boat was prepared for a long voyage and sailed from France to the Caribbean. It was then purchased by its penultimate owner in 2007, who equipped it for extended navigation with friends. Under its current owner, ABITIBI, it crossed the Pacific from east to west and west to east. After a passage through Patagonia, the boat crossed the South Atlantic and is currently located in France/Mediterranean.
