XBOAT ref: 6200.
My Dufour 325 is a fast cruiser, well built and seaworthy. It perfectly suits sailors looking for a cruising sailboat that is easy to sail, fast, and safe.
Limited edition "ARPEGE".
This is a first owner boat, and I have never rented it.
Renowned marine qualities and construction (all nautical literature confirms this).
The Genoa was renovated in 2022 and the mainsail as well as the lazy bag and lazy jack were completely redone in 2024. The standing rigging is in good condition. The main anchoring system includes an electric windlass, 30 meters of 10 mm chain and rope.
Tiller steering, Raymarine autopilot, log, depth sounder, anemometer, VHF.
Volvo 19 HP engine with Sail-Drive transmission. Exhaust elbow and gas collector replaced in 2025. Antifouling by shipyard every spring including June 2025.
Our sailboat stands out as it has been fitted out for comfortable and extended family cruising:
- 2 double cabins with an extra porthole at the stern, sliding door at the bow, and 3 berths in the saloon.
- The saloon table and cockpit table can seat up to 8 guests.
- Galley with 2 burners, oven, fridge with 3 ice trays, extra storage, and pressurized seawater at the sink. (Galley powered by 2 Butagaz cylinders).
- Sink, shower, electric toilet completely redone in 2024, new seacock in 2025. Black water tank.
- Water heater on 220 V or engine circuit.
- Cockpit locker reorganized (more accessible storage, cockpit table, and conversion of the aft berth into a transverse 140x200 cm bed).
- Solar panels mounted on RollBar (2 x 180 W and charge regulator).
- One engine battery and 2 slow-discharge service batteries.
- LED lighting, Wi-Fi sockets, and 12V sockets throughout the boat.
The deck and cockpit are very well arranged. Movement is very easy, whether going forward or handling maneuvers in the cockpit. The cockpit is designed to facilitate maneuvers with a small crew or even solo. My Dufour version has tiller steering; the mainsheet block is mounted at the aft end of the cockpit, and it can be installed and removed instantly, completely freeing the cockpit.
In practice, the Dufour 325 is a safe sailboat, both in its construction and its behavior at sea. The sailboat enjoys stronger winds, clearly. And the boat always remains very well balanced.
The layouts of the Dufour 325 Grand Large are well thought out. Movement is easy, comfortable for living aboard with 4 people. The 2 cabins are spacious, very pleasant for living at sea. I installed on a stainless steel arch 2 solar panels of 180 W each, which provides perfect electrical autonomy at sea.
Headroom under the beam is 1.87 m below the companionway. More information and photos on the site xboat.fr
