Dufour 405 Grand Large

The Dufour 405 Grand Large is a cruising sailboat designed to provide an excellent balance between performance, comfort, and safety. Manufactured by Dufour Yachts, this boat is ideal for sailors looking to explore the seas with style and reliability.

This Dufour 405 Grand Large is a second-hand boat. It was sold new to its first owner in 2011. Following the purchase of a new Dufour 450 in 2013, the boat was sold to its current owners later that same year.

Since 2013, this couple has enjoyed many sailing adventures with this boat, notably in different regions of the Mediterranean.

The boat is very well maintained and benefits from an annual wintering under a winter cover. The engine is also winterized each year, rinsed with fresh water, and undergoes an annual service.

In 2024, the hull was fully sanded, then treated with two coats of epoxy and two coats of Micron 350 anti-fouling. The anti-fouling was renewed in 2026.

The saildrive seal was also replaced in 2024.
