Elan 410 Performance Sailboat from 2009: Fast Cruising and Racing, Ready to Sail

Designed by the Slovenian manufacturer Elan, the Elan 410 Performance measures 41 feet and is aimed at sailors who want to combine performance under sail, cruising comfort, and the ability to face offshore conditions. This 2009 model belongs to a generation that chose a sporty hull without sacrificing space, with a layout designed for family or friends cruising. It is positioned halfway between the traditional family cruiser and the racing sailboat, making it suitable for both leisure cruising and competition.

Mechanically, it is powered by a Volvo Penta 40 hp engine with 3,400 hours, providing reliable and powerful propulsion for port maneuvers and light weather sailing.

Inside, the Elan 410 impresses with its volume and brightness. It offers three double cabins and a bathroom, making it an ideal family sailboat. The convertible saloon adapts to onboard living, for meals, evening gatherings, or extra sleeping space. The Webasto forced-air heating allows comfortable navigation outside the season, and numerous storage compartments facilitate long cruises. The whole interior is bright, airy, and very livable.

Outside, the spacious cockpit is equipped with a central steering wheel that provides excellent control and comfort. Solar panels ensure electrical independence at anchor, and a complete electronic system guarantees safe navigation. The cruising sail wardrobe is impressive: a large tri-radial sail in Mylar/Dacron, a Delta genoa from April 2024, an asymmetric spinnaker, a symmetric spinnaker, and a code 0 on furler for light winds. A removable bow sprit completes this setup.

For racing enthusiasts, this cruising-racing sailboat comes with a dedicated set of sails: medium genoa, main sail, storm jib, code 4 in Mylar/Kevlar with furler, carbon furler jib 3 and jib 4, spinnaker, and gennaker.
