Signed by VPLP and Patrick Le Quement, the Excess 11 combines the pleasure of steering a sporty sailboat with the comfort of a catamaran. Its two external steering wheels, positioned at the stern as on a monohull, provide real feedback from the water. The saloon and cockpit, on the same level, offer a large living space.
This 2020 model, version with 3 double cabins and 2 bathrooms, is equipped for long-distance cruising in complete autonomy:
- Dessalator 60 L/h watermaker, serviced in March 2025;
- Victron 3000 VA inverter, 450 W of solar panels, 4 AGM batteries;
- complete Raymarine electronics: chartplotter, radar, AIS 700, autopilot, 2 i70 repeaters;
- 2 electric winches, Code 0 in addition to the jib and the gaff mainsail;
- teak on the cockpit, walkways (passavants) and transom platforms, stainless-steel davits (bossoirs), forward and aft sunbathing areas.
Yanmar 3YM30 AE engines with 30 hp in saildrive, 2,130 engine hours, regularly maintained (last service on 04/03/2025, invoices available). Antifouling from September 2024. Design category A.
