Hatch with hinges to ensure total cockpit watertightness, yet light enough to be easily operated with one hand.

NACA profile keel with a semi-bulb in the bottom, allowing easy beaching. The keel has two compartments separated by an aluminum sheet: at the bottom, the ballast in lead; at the top, the diesel tank. The ballast is designed to provide an excellent righting curve with or without diesel in the tank. The keel installation in the hull makes it highly safe in the event of grounding.
