My Maryland 37 is a sought-after and rare model on the market:
In 2019-2020: reconditioning of the 2 engines by the official Yanmar agent.
In December 2022, for safety reasons:
- Replacement of the 2 propeller shafts (one was slightly corroded),
- The 2 hydrolube rings were replaced with new ones,
- The propellers were rebalanced,
- The silent blocks of the 2 engines were replaced,
During a sea trial with the mechanic, the maximum speed was measured at 19 knots, with no signs of overheating or vibration.
As a reminder, the ideal cruising speed is around 10/12 knots.
The antifouling and anode replacement are done annually.
It is fully equipped for cruising. Solar panels on Bimini since 2022.
I continue to maintain it with great care.
