Gib Sea 442

We are selling our Ponyo, a Gib Sea 442 with a shallow draft (1.65m). Autonomous and ready for long voyages (prepared for an transatlantic crossing). 80,000 euros worth of work was carried out in 2025 (invoices provided) to modernize it (axiom pro, new vhf, iridium go, ais, 400w solar panel...) and to secure it (hull, rigging, engine, bow thruster, sails, waterproofing...).

With its shallow draft, Ponyo is ideal for the Breton coasts as well as for Caribbean lagoons. It features large interior volumes (headroom, cabins also 1.90m), a spacious and very bright saloon. There are 2 rear double cabins, 2 front bunk beds, 2 toilets, 1 bathroom, 1 L-shaped galley, and numerous storage compartments.

Highly regarded for chartering and collective use, the Gib-Sea offers significant volume with many lockers both outside and inside. Versatile and very powerful, the GibSea 442 adapts to all programs and will handle rough seas smoothly. Solidly built, it is suitable for both long voyages and short trips.

With autonomy, it has a 400 L freshwater tank with filter, a 200 L gasoline tank, and 400 W of solar panels recharging lithium batteries.

Ponyo is easy to sail alone: genoa and mainsail are reefed using 2 electric winches. Ideal for family trips, with safety in mind.

A safety rail has been installed around the entire boat for increased security.

The bow thruster was refurbished in 2025 to easily enter ports.
