GRAND SOLEIL 35 "POPPA LUNGA": The Alliance of Italian Elegance and Offshore Cruising Excellence

Designed by naval architect Alain Jezequel and built by the renowned Cantiere del Pardo shipyard, the Grand Soleil 35 embodies the golden age of Italian boatbuilding. Meticulously prepared for long-range cruising, this unit combines the warm charm of its teak interior joinery with a complete and recent technical upgrade. The entire vessel is supported by an exemplary maintenance history, demonstrating constant care and attention.

 

At the heart of its modernization is a new 2024 Volvo Penta D1-30F engine with 432 hours, benefiting from meticulous servicing. Thelong-range autonomy is ensured by a Katadyn 40E water maker, an inox MPI davit arch with chocks, a solar panel, a revised wind turbine, and a 300-liter freshwater tank.

 

In terms of navigation and safety, the vessel benefits from triple redundancy of autopilots including an inboard ram on the steering wheel, a wheel autopilot system, and a tiller autopilot. Its high-performance sail plan includes a North Sails 3Di Nordac main sail, a Crosscut Solent, and a Code D. Lastly, the structure has been impeccably maintained, with all seacocks and valves replaced in 2024, the keel epoxy-treated in 2024, and recent antifouling completed in February 2026.
