Discover the HYLAS 51 OCEAN RACE, an exceptional sailing yacht that impresses with its speed and remarkable design. For maintenance, this yacht has been regularly updated: running rigging replaced in 2018, new gelcoat in 2020, and antifouling applied in 2022. The electronic navigation equipment is complete: bi-directional AIS, MeteoFax with longwave reception, wireless remote autopilot, Garmin GPSMAP 8417 MFD plotter, Garmin radar, VHF radio at the navigation station with secondary unit at the helm, frontal depth sounder, and satellite phone preparation.

The deck is equipped with a 15 kg CQR anchor with 50 meters of chain and a warp, an electric windlass, a stainless steel bathing ladder, as well as 12 Barient winches (including 2 electric for the genoas) and a recent GNX Windex. Pressurized water, a multifunction LED lighting system, a teak cockpit, and several bilge pumps (automatic and manual) complete the set.

Inside, comfort is ensured by a 40-liter Isotherm water heater, a Katadyn Power Survivor desalinator, a Victron 1500 W inverter, and a programmable Webasto ThermoPro 90 heater. The kitchen is equipped with a Force10 three-burner gas stove, an oven with grill, two sinks, and an approximately 30-liter refrigerator/freezer operating at 24V/230V.

For safety, an approved survival raft for 12 persons is on board. Concerning sails, the boat features a dedicated rig for spinnaker with carbon boom and aluminum jockey pole, as well as a Navtek hydraulic sheet at the helm station.

Among the technical details are a three-blade Gori folding propeller with overdrive function to optimize consumption, two alternators for 12V and 24V systems, stainless steel diesel conduits, tubular radiators under the aft berths and in the salon, and an aluminum radiator on the foredeck. Anchors, mooring lines of various lengths, as well as a set of six standard wings and eight inflatable wings for easy storage and inflation, complete this superb yacht ready to sail towards new adventures.
