Remarks: For an affordable budget, the Brin de Folie stands out for its seakeeping abilities and habitability, notably with a large number of storage spaces. Its sail inventory is particularly complete: the addition of a gennaker and a full batten mainsail has significantly improved its performance both in light air and breeze. It grounds perfectly on supports.
The current owners, the third since the boat's commissioning, have kept it for 24 years. Until 2021, the boat was stored dry in a boatyard all year round and was only launched for the summer period, in July and August, for coastal family cruising for 4 between Charente and Brittany.
The latest mechanical overhaul was done in summer 2024, including replacement of the exhaust pipe and complete cleaning of the heat exchanger. The last antifouling was done in July 2024.
