Designed by the duo Andrieu and Verdier, and built entirely using infusion, the Sun Fast 3300 offers exceptional strength and rigidity, with a significantly reduced weight. As a result, it not only delivers excellent absolute performance but also benefits from an advantage in terms of IRC handicap rules, particularly due to its simple keel without bulb and reasonable sail area.
On this racing sailboat, ergonomics serve efficiency: spacious cockpit to facilitate movement, adjustment systems brought to the helm for solo sailing. 5% faster than the 3200 version, the Sun Fast 3300 remains stable and balanced on technical courses. Its hull has been specially designed to enhance its performance on downwind legs.
This 2020 model rated 0.30 won the UNCL 2022 Atlantic Channel Championship in crewed racing and had to withdraw from the Transquadra due to health reasons of its Skipper/Owner. Its specific inventory ensures superior performance compared to other SUN FAST 3300s in its category (special hull preparation before launching, mainsail in ILX lighter than carbon sail, 3 x symmetrical spinnakers for better downwind speed, code 5 of 60 m2 on furler, KARVER 3-speed winches, GARMIN GPS Chartplotter with large screen GPSMap 8416 on articulated arm, integrated Wifi and NMEA 183/2000, with solar panel for permanent charging...).
