Jeanneau Sun Fizz powered by a Perkins 4.108, hull paint in good condition.
The boat has been out of the water for several months and will therefore require a thorough cleaning.
The interior does not appear to need any work at first glance. The linings are in fairly good condition, the upholstery is like new, recently redone.
The boat is ready to sail, however, some running rigging and a more substantial anchoring equipment will need to be provided.
The story of the Jeanneau Sun Fizz
The Sun Fizz sailboat is a cruising monohull, built by the Jeanneau shipyard in France. This fixed keel sailboat, rigged as a masthead sloop, designed by naval architect Philippe Briand, measures 11.75 m in length with a maximum draft of 1.95 m. Production started in 1980 and ended in 1986. 651 units were produced.
General condition:
This unit is in very good condition, the owners have had it for over 20 years and have maintained it well.
Interior:
The woodwork and upholstery are in good condition. The floors show almost no defects. The bilges are clean.
Exterior:
Except for the hull which requires polishing, we observed only a few superficial gelcoat chips on both the hull and deck, with no delamination on the deck.
Mechanical:
Maintenance is up to date; the Perkins 4.108 is still a common engine, which allows us to easily find parts.
Documentation:
Certificate of registration
Boat user manuals plus original documentation.
