Jeanneau Voyage 12.50

BABA AU RHUM is the Voyage 12.50 (or Sun Odyssey 42, latest model) by Jeanneau, built in 1991 and acquired in August 2022. Well maintained and ready to sail. A couple lived on board for 3 years. Return from Corsica-Sardinia summer 2026.

Hull:
- 2023 vintage keel ports with brass and fiberglass/plastic (true design)
- Epoxy anti-osmosis treatment completed in 2021 (no bubbles appeared during last maintenance in 2024 despite 4 months dry dock)
- 3-blade mirror-polished propellers in 2024
- Hydrolube shaft seal and Volvo-type shaft joint in 2024 (approx 200 hours engine since)
- Current antifouling Jotun Seaquantum 60 months (used on large ships), to be renewed in 2027
- AIS rudder ring
- Stringers in perfect condition, no osmosis or cracks

Deck & Sail Equipment:
- New 2023 Rolly Tasker mainsail
- Good condition genoa (UV strip and protection to be revised October 2026)
- Used genoa jib to install
- Changed foredeck in 2021, with shrouds, stays, etc.
- Regular maintenance/replacement of rigging/pulleys/lubrication each season
- Steering wheel/steering gear/bearing revised/replaced December 2025
- Reinforcement stringer and bulkhead plate for staysail in place (see photo)

Engine:
- Yanmar 4JH-TE from 1985 rebuilt and installed by previous owner with 1350 hours now
- Fuel consumption 1.6L/h at 1800 rpm. Simple and robust engine running perfectly
- Complete seasonal maintenance personally performed
- Everything done proactively
- Exhaust elbow/heat exchanger cleaning
- New spare parts available: Alternator, Starter, Water pump (additional 2000 euros)
- Cleaning lime and injector additive (LiquiMoly) before each oil change
- Diesel biocide used (clean tank with no mud)
- Starting battery 2026
