Enedice is a 16.30-meter cruising sailboat launched in 2003 by the prestigious JFA shipyard, known for the high quality of its constructions, regularly praised in the professional press. It was refitted in 2016 and technically updated since 2023. This JFA 53 DS is an ocean-going vessel recognized for its robustness, comfort, and excellent sea qualities. Built in aluminum with a teak deck, this monohull offers high-end specifications for long-distance cruising.
Its raised saloon is unique on the market for a vessel of this generation, providing a panoramic view of the environment while remaining indoors.
Equipped with a powerful Nanni N4.115 115 HP engine with a propeller Maxprop, it has a cruising speed of 7 knots and a maximum speed of 8.5 knots. Its large fuel capacity of 1,400 liters ensures significant autonomy. This fuel autonomy is complemented by a water capacity of 1,400 liters.
Enedice is also fully energy autonomous thanks to a state-of-the-art generator (2023), solar panels, and two wind turbines. Power management is handled by a comprehensive Victron system. It features service batteries of 640 Ah, as well as two separate batteries for the engine and generator.
The vessel has 3 cabins, 8 berths, 2 bathrooms, and 2 electric toilets, with a headroom of 2.10 meters. The interior is particularly comfortable, equipped with reversible air conditioning, a water heater, a desalination system, refrigerator, freezer, oven, stove, Hi-Fi system, and television.
Very well maintained, this JFA has benefited from numerous recent upgrades: standing rigging 2024, rigid bimini 2024, generator 2023, solar panels 2025, AIS 2023, gennaker 2024, staysail 2023, batteries and generator 2023, as well as a life raft from 2022 overhauled in 2025.
Navigation equipment is complete: GPS, chartplotter, radar, navigation center, autopilot with backup pilot, VHF, wind vane-anemometer 2024, and AIS.
On the deck and handling systems, the boat is equipped with a bow thruster, electric windlass, bathing platform, chocks, electric winches, cockpit, spinnaker pole, lazy bag, and lazy jack. The full sail inventory includes a full batten mainsail, spinnaker, staysail, jib, solent, and gennaker on furler.
The hull is insulated above the waterline to enable navigation in high latitudes. An inspection of the hull reveals no signs of corrosion, with the hull originally painted with 5 layers of epoxy.
Enedice bears the French flag and is registered in Cap d’Agde. The buyer can choose to take over the port of registry.
Enedice is ready for long voyages around the world, combining safety, autonomy, and onboard comfort.
