Sport yacht / Sport boat K6.50 Karver- Yumboat

Beautiful K650 from 2009, sailing yacht produced in very small series and designed by Juan Kouyoumdjian (naval architect renowned for America's Cup and Volvo Ocean Race yachts).

The K6.50 is a sport yacht (same class as Mach 6.50 and Open 6.50), can be used solo but its primary purpose is crew sailing with 2 to 4 people. The mast must be hoisted by crane (light carbon mast, 11.5 m) and the trailer (with carbon conformers) does not allow easy launching via a ramp.

The yacht is in perfect condition:

- Carbon bow sprit, carbon helm, and stunning pivoting carbon wing mast (11.5 TA) –

- Centreboard system refitted by the previous owner (TE 0.60 - 2.30).

Sails:

• Composite Lite skin Star mainsail, white, 23m2, good condition
• Dacron jib, like new - composite mainsail, black, 23m2 – average condition
• Genoa, composite, black, 17m2 – heavily used
• Orange SPI 1, 65m2, TBE, like new
• White SPI 2, used (patch on the sail)

Standing rigging: No issues

Running rigging:

• Foils, genoas, and SPI in TBE – Main sheets and spi sheets to be replaced (Nodus Factory Dyneema SK78 – 6mm)

Hardware: full Karver (KF 0.9 blocks, KB06 pulleys, and more – +KJH handle, etc.)

Recent upgrades:

• SNA mast cover (+500.00€ -2024-)
• Main sail cover - new racing threads protection
• Hull and deck stickers replaced
• Velocitek Speed Puck
• 2 anemometers
• Friend tiller handle

Trailor registered RGF / Mecanorem in excellent condition, never launched. (B+E license not required) -

Mercury 2.5 hp outboard engine, serviced and stored during winter by a professional, runs perfectly.

Miscellaneous:

• Pump, buoy, bailer, paddles, moorings, etc.
• Cleaning / new antifouling done for 2026 season (black hull + rudders & keel painted red)

The yacht has only sailed in freshwater (Lake Orient) over the last two seasons and is stored in a hangar for 6 months each year. It is visible near Semur en Auxois (21) and possibly on the water at Lake Orient during the 2026 season.

In summary, it's a fantastic very fast yacht (655kg for 40m2 upwind and 65m2 downwind...), a real rocket providing enormous enjoyment sailing with friends or racing club. Reason for sale: purchasing a cruising yacht. (Many photos and documents available)
