Kriter V is a monohull designed for offshore racing. It is famous for having carried Michel Malinovsky to second place in the 1978 Route du Rhum behind Mike Birch on his trimaran Olympus Photo by 98 seconds. The following year, in the hands of Malinovsky, partnered with Pierre Lenormand, the monohull competed in the 1979 double-handed Transat where it finished fourth.
The vessel was fully restored over 3 years from keel to mast. With numerous partners, it has gained comfort through many modern fittings.
