Boat Description
I am proud to present my Apocalypse 43, a first-hand boat that has been very well maintained and is very well equipped. The hull was totally sanded in 2018, ensuring its excellent condition. The sails and engine are recent, providing optimal performance.
Technical Features
This boat is an Apocalypse 43 built in 1985 and registered in France on September 30, 1986. It measures 13.07 meters in length. It is constructed with a Kevlar and Iso resin sandwich layout, making it very sturdy and lightweight, with no risk of osmosis.
Engine and Propulsion
The engine is a Yanmar 33 HP, installed centrally under the saloon table. It has been recently replaced and has only 300 hours of operation. The shaft line features a folding three-blade propeller.
Sail Rigging
- Genoa fully battened and replaced in 2018, lightly used, like new (32 m² and Harken carriage).
- Genoa on furler, measuring 52 m², replaced in 2018, like new, lightly used.
- Staysail on furler, measuring 14 m².
- Light asymmetrical spinnaker measuring 142 m² (textile luff).
- Heavy asymmetrical spinnaker measuring 92 m² (stainless steel luff).
Interior Arrangements
The interior consists of a central saloon with a fold-down table and a large chart table equipped with electronics (computer with digital nautical charts, radar, VHF, B.L.U, sounders, and various navigation instruments).
The kitchen is fully equipped with a revolving oven, a fridge, and hot and cold water.
There are 3 cabins: a double forward cabin with a sink, a double aft cabin, and a simple navigation cabin. An electric toilet with shower is also present.
