General condition:
This American-built motorboat is preceded by its reputation. Luhrs offers unique boats with extremely safe marine handling to face all conditions. This unit of only 9m is powered by 2x 260hp, which further enhances its secure handling.
17 years after its commissioning, this unit is in very good condition, with the hull being very beautiful with no signs of aging, and the superstructures are also in very good condition. All electronic equipment is up to date and operational. The engines are serviced annually and work perfectly.
Exterior:
The hull shows no defects and is well polished. No defects to report on the rubbing strake. The superstructures are also in good condition, and the quality of the gelcoat is far superior to what can frequently be seen on units of this size. In the cockpit, all white parts are very shiny with no marks or signs of crazing. Only one modification has been made to the port and starboard gunwales to accommodate new rod holders and change the orientation. Otherwise, the boat is entirely original. The flybridge structure is in good condition. The upholstery of the flybridge helm, aft cockpit, and front sunbathing area is recent and in very good condition. The upholstery of the helm and co-pilot seats is original and in used condition.
Interior:
The interior of this boat has been very little used, the upholstery is in good condition, as are the floors. The bathroom appears to have never been used. The only downside is that the refrigerator is currently out of order. All wall coverings are of very good quality and in very good condition.
Mechanical:
The two 6-cylinder inline Yanmar 260hp engines look good visually. No signs of apparent leaks, the bilge is clean and dry. Before the 2024 season, the exhaust elbows and turbos were replaced. The last intervention on the heat exchangers dates back to 2022.
The engine starts on the first attempt without any hesitation, smoke or abnormal noise.
Average consumption is 60L/h for both engines at a cruising speed of about 16Kts.
