Built in 1992 based on Gilles Vaton's design "Javelot," it mainly cruised the Mediterranean. Under the names "Bella Dona," then "Vodoo," and now "Javelot," this boat has faced calm seas and storms without ever faltering. The aluminum structure, perfectly crafted by Malt International Yard, has remained unchanged. In 2018, "Javelot" underwent a full refit necessary for offshore solo sailing. A new keel, designed by Derivoire Ingenierie and built by Navilest, a fully checked rigging, a sail plan suited for solo sailing, a new rudder ensuring greater stability under pilot, a new Volvo DI30 engine, a new NKE electronic central system, and new ONESAIL sails. The boat, more of an IRC type, finished 8th in the Route du Rhum 2018 in the Mono class without any issues. Returning in double-handed configuration was straightforward. Today, the boat, fully equipped and optimized, can set sail again and register for another Route du Rhum or any other adventure.
