Meridian 441 flybridge
length of 14.4 m - beam of 5.20 m - draft of 90 cm - semi-planing hull. 6 berths (2 doubles plus convertible sofa). It is under French flag and dates from 2008.
2 cabins with 2 bathrooms. The aft cabin has its own bathroom with a real shower cabin.
The second cabin has direct interior access to the second bathroom. This bathroom is also accessible from the staircase. It features a boat shower, a showerhead, and a ground-level water drain.
The main living area includes a salon with a convertible sofa, a dining area with a table and 2 benches for 4 people, and a kitchen.
Under the salon, access via a ladder leads to the interior bilge, where a freezer and washing machine were planned to be installed — space is designated (but verification with Seb regarding installations and connections is needed).
The flybridge is solid, with covers replaced in 2022, and features a sink, a table, and benches for 8 people. This is the helm station. The onboard electronics are recent: 2 engine screens, a 12-inch Garmin touchscreen GPS, a state-of-the-art hydraulic autopilot, VHF, and radio station.
The engines are two Cummins QSB 6.7 (960 HP total, less than 50 hours, still under warranty—new and installed in 12/2023), with treated propeller shafts and revised reverse gears. Max speed: 26 knots, comfortable cruising at 12-14 knots + a powerful bow thruster with joystick makes maneuvering in port easier.
The technical equipment is up to date: the 4 flap pistons were replaced a year and a half ago; all through-hulls are made of bronze, and the underwater lights are recent. No expenses expected below the waterline.
At anchor, the autonomy is excellent: Victron lithium batteries (12V), complemented by discreet 1000W solar panels, a generator, and engine alternators. This allows very limited generator use.
The windlass and chain are new (90m, 1200W, stainless steel anchor).
A hydraulic aft platform, which descends into the water, is attached to the aft deck, greatly facilitating the boarding of the tender. (and allows lounging in the water as well, but less marketable...)
The boat is also equipped with a 120 L/h desalination system, an 11 KVA 230V generator (refurbished), a ventilated Liebherr professional refrigerator, a microwave with grill, and electric cooking plates.
Electricity operates at 12V and 230V.
Fuel tank of 1800 L and freshwater tank of 500 L + a 120 L/h desalination system.
