TRIMARAN TRILOGY 50

Construction MEAT in Strongall Aluminum.
Architect: JP Brouns.

A serious offer would be welcome.

Stella Maris is a Trilogy 50 type trimaran, designed by naval architect Jean-Pierre Brouns and custom-built by the META shipyard in Strongall aluminum. It was delivered in 2008 to its owners, the Lamblin couple, who keep it ashore for interior outfitting.

Launched in 2011, it initially moved to Port Saint-Louis du Rhône for several years ashore. Relaunched in 2017, during navigation, it headed to Portimão, Portugal, where it was hauled out in 2018. Its owner, Mr. Lamblin, continued working on vessel outfitting until illness prevented him, leading to the project’s halt.

The boat was acquired in August 2025 by its current owner with a clear objective: to restore it to sailing condition, transport it to La Rochelle, then convert it to hybrid electric propulsion for an extended voyage. Its nearly 30m² large deck, transmission systems adapted for easy integration of electric motors, and extensive battery spaces made it an ideal candidate for this project.

For a convoy to France, an extensive overhaul was undertaken between 2025 and 2026: complete revision of the electrical system, engines, transmissions, navigation electronics, and full bottom job.

The vessel was launched on February 18, 2026, and sea trials took place on February 19, 20, and 21, 2026. All mechanical and electronic systems proved functional after sailing 110 nautical miles.

Financial constraints and availability compelled the current owner to sell the boat before the convoy was completed.
