"I bought this boat in 1988, its speed and performance immediately won me over!
The boat was built in 1978 for skipper MARSAUDON, with whom I had the chance to race in the "Course au Large" during the double-handed transatlantic: Lorient - Bermuda - Lorient in 1983 on the trimaran Stalaven!

I bought this Jade 48 in 1988 as an empty hull and worked for 2 years on a complete refit: reinforcement of the bow fairing, then I made all the woodwork and interior fittings.

I am passionate about racing and offshore racing, and I have owned this magnificent aluminum sailboat for 36 years!
Today, it is a fast and comfortable boat.

The maintenance of the boat is regular. I am very meticulous about boat upkeep, considering it part of safety.
It is professionally bottomed regularly, and in April 2026, we gave it a cosmetic overhaul for spring: hull sanding, antifouling, various inspections and repairs, anodes replaced, hull sandblasted, and 4 coats of zinc antifouling applied.

It is a boat ready to sail; I do all maintenance myself, knowing I am a former professional in shipbuilding, except for the hull sanding, which was done in April 2026 by a company.

As I age, I’ve made the difficult decision to part with her, and we are looking for a new owner.
It is a sailboat that points well to the wind, a close-reaching boat!
