"I bought this boat in 1988, its speed and performance immediately won me over!
The boat was built in 1978 for skipper MARSAUDON, with whom I was fortunate to sail during the 'Course au large' in the double-handed transat, Lorient - Bermuda - Lorient in 1983 on the trimaran Stalaven!

I bought this Jade 48 in 1988 as an empty hull and spent 2 years doing a complete refit, doubling up the planks at the bow, then I made all the wooden joinery and interior fittings.

I am passionate about racing and offshore sailing, and I have owned this beautiful aluminum yacht for 36 years!
Today, it is a fast and comfortable boat.

Regular maintenance is carried out "I am very particular about maintaining the boat, as safety is key.
It is regularly keel-bashed, and this April 2026, we gave it a facelift for spring, including antifouling, cleaning, repairs, anodes replaced, hull sanded, and four coats of Zinc SILICATE antifouling "Doxanode" applied.

It is a boat ready to sail, I do all the work myself, knowing I am a former professional in naval construction, except for the sanding, which was done in April 2026 by a company.

With age, I have made the difficult decision to part with it, and we are looking for its new owner.
It is a sailboat with a tight rig, a boat that sails close to the wind!

Originally built for skipper Marsaudon, I had the chance to sail with him in offshore racing.
Purchased as an empty hull, I fully customized and strengthened it myself: reinforced bow structure, custom joinery, complete interior fittings.
After 36 years of passionate navigation, I part with it reluctantly.
It is a fast, seaworthy, demanding sailboat, ideal for sports sailors. Always meticulously maintained, it is now ready to set sail again.”
