Amira is a 1933 Motor Yacht designed by architect O.M. Watts. It is classified as BIP (building of patrimonial interest). Its sturdy structure is built on 3 levels of frames and 40 planks. This boat, with a rich history, is said to have participated in Operation DYNAMO at Dunkirk in 1940 for the re-embarkation of British troops. It has undergone several refits since its construction and much of its history is available upon request. Since 2018, the hull has been completely stripped on two-thirds of its length, the engine has been removed along with the water tanks. Floors and frames have been replaced, and the floors have been steam-bent and copper-riveted. Amira sails every year with its owners for cruises combining the comfort and charm of classic boats. It has a berth. Visits possible every day by appointment. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like more information.
