Despite difficulties in production in Florida, Carlo Riva, Hobbs's close collaborator, teamed up with Cal Connell, founder of Mercruiser, to develop and manufacture this innovative concept in Italy. Thus, the Monte Carlo Offshorer was born, built in the small "Mare e Sole" yard near Ventimiglia, close to Monaco.

Quickly becoming a symbol of the French Riviera, this boat is distinguished by its logo evoking speed and elegance, embodying the splendor of the "Dolce Vita." With 343 units produced, the Monte Carlo Offshorer ranks among the greatest successes in the nautical industry.

Even today, this model is recognized as one of the most elegant ever made, with hull lines that ensure exceptional maneuverability and remarkable sea handling, even in challenging conditions. This Monte Carlo Offshorer 30 is powered by two Crusader V8 engines of 375 horsepower, offering greater power and reduced weight compared to traditional Mercruiser engines, often mounted on Riva Aquarama.
