Discover the Monte Carlo Offshorer 30, an iconic model rooted in 70s innovation. Designed by Carlo Riva, the legendary founder of Riva shipyard, this boat is the result of a technical revolution from the United States: the deep V-hull with steps. This unique design generates a lift effect that improves speed and lightens water surface navigation.
The history of this model is closely linked to that of Bob Hobbs, a visionary mathematician and naval architect who pioneered the first V-hull. Despite difficulties encountered in producing it in Florida, Carlo Riva, a close collaborator of Hobbs, worked with Cal Connell, founder of Mercruiser, to develop and manufacture this innovative concept in Italy. Thus was born the Monte Carlo Offshorer, built in the small shipyard “Mare e Sole” near Ventimiglia, very close to Monaco.
Quickly becoming a symbol of the French Riviera, this boat is distinguished by its logo evoking speed and elegance, embodying the splendor of the “Dolce Vita”. With 343 units produced, the Monte Carlo Offshorer is among the greatest successes in the nautical sector.
Even today, this model is recognized as one of the most elegant ever made, with hull lines that ensure exceptional maneuverability and remarkable sea-keeping, even in difficult conditions. This Monte Carlo Offshorer 30 is powered by two Crusader V8 engines of 375 horsepower, offering greater power and a lighter weight compared to traditional Mercruiser engines, often mounted on Riva Aquarama.
This boat is in excellent condition, with recent engines that guarantee reliability and performance. On the equipment side, it features electric flaps for better stability, a retractable swim ladder for easy water access, and an additional sun deck for optimal onboard comfort.
Experience the unique charm of a timeless classic, combining performance, elegance, and nautical history.
