Description

Nautitech 40 Open

Delivered in 2023 by the Nautitech shipyard based on plans by Marc Lombard, GAIA is a Nautitech 40 Open in a three-cabin proprietary version, known for its excellent seakeeping qualities, onboard living comfort, and sailing performance under sail.
Ordered new with an exceptional equipment level: Comfort version, 2 x 50 HP engine installation, Hydranet horn sails, B&G Pack Nav Advanced electronics with radar, Victron lithium battery bank 600 Ah, 1,200 W of solar panels, watermaker, Starlink... i.e. over 190,000 EUR excluding VAT in options and additional equipment.
The "Open" concept developed by Nautitech creates true continuity between the cockpit and the saloon, offering smooth circulation, exceptional natural ventilation, and a panoramic view of the outdoors. The aft steering console also provides very much appreciated sailing sensations for leisure sailors looking for a lively, high-performing catamaran. It is also more convenient for the skipper, who remains with the crew at all times while keeping full control of the boat.
Thanks to its hull designed by Marc Lombard, which he had built for himself, the Nautitech 40 Open benefits from particularly reassuring, high-performing seakeeping behavior when sailing upwind and on reaching/offwind headings.
French flag. French VAT paid, visible in Martinique, available March 2027
Financing in progress via LOA: leasing buyback possible for a 7-year term (reserved for nationals of the European Union).
