Built at Normandy Yacht Service by a team of former Garcia shipyard employees, the DG 52 is designed for unlimited round-the-world voyages, ice included. With a robust aluminum construction and interior ergonomics designed for safe navigation, this handsome 15.80m hull-length sloop qualifies. Performance is assured with a keel optimized for weight and equipped with NACA-profile appendages.
Vincent Lebailly Yacht Design designed this custom aluminum centerboarder for a couple of owners wishing to sail anywhere, safely protected.
The interior design by Pierre Frutschi is exemplary. The concept of a wheelhouse / watchroom was almost a priority from the start. On the DG52, the wheelhouse is not just an extension of the cockpit but a separate room inside!
This distinguishes the DG52 from many other cruising yachts that provide only a damp, rarely heated watch station. Here, the watchroom opens onto the saloon and connects seamlessly with the rest of the interior. Three seats are integrated, allowing for dining, watchkeeping, or relaxing. All with controls within easy reach and exceptional outward visibility.
