Closed helm speedboat QUICKSILVER 580 PilotHouse from 2004.
Designed for fishing, it features a large (2.02 x 1.80 m) and deep (73 cm) cockpit.
It has a live bait bench and two rod holders incorporated into the gunwales. Storage compartments are well thought out with three lockers: one central and two side lockers. Additionally, removable boards on either side of the live bait bench provide two extra seats. A sliding door provides access to the helm, with a headroom of 2.10 meters under the beams. The layout, in a single volume, includes two foldable seats for the pilot and co-pilot. Visibility is remarkable, with a two-part windshield offering panoramic views. The driving position is even more comfortable as you can use the head of one of the berths as a footrest. Beneath, there is a V-shaped bed measuring 1.90 x 2.10 meters at its largest dimensions. It covers chemical toilets.
The 580 Pilothouse is easy and enjoyable to operate, it does not nosedive during planing and handles well at flat angles.
