The superb Solaris 44 remains a reference in the cruising race market. It is one of the few 13.5 m yachts designed and built for fast cruising with a small crew. The ergonomic cockpit, the maneuvers led back to the helm stations via two winches, the integrated mainsail track below deck, and the additional winches on the coamings allow the boat to be used equally well for cruising and racing. The aft-mounted beam, combined with the twin rudder option, ensures maximum efficiency at any heel angle. Comfort is not overlooked, with a forward owner's suite, a large saloon, and two aft cabins. The galley and saloon can comfortably accommodate six to eight guests.
