Following the great success of the Solaris 47, 48, and 50, it was necessary to consider possible improvements. Solaris Yachts and Javier Soto Acebal concluded that increasing and moving the master beam aft was essential to equip the new 50’ with two rudders. Tacking in a breeze thus becomes child's play.

This new aft volume is also utilized to create a watertight tender garage, usable longitudinally, which is rare on a vessel of this size.

The placement of the steering stations has also been optimized: being set back and spaced apart, the helmsman has an improved field of vision, despite the presence of a possible bimini.

It was important to pamper fin sailors on a racer with such a good weight-power ratio! Especially since with a Weldox keel and a carbon mast, there is potential for impressive performance…

The infusion vacuum sandwich construction, the structural composite bulkheads laminated as a monobloc to the hull and deck, and the ultra-rigorous method of keel fixing will once again contribute to the rigidity and unmatched durability at the best weight—a hallmark of Solaris Yachts.

Great attention has been paid to interior finish details, especially in the saloon and owner's cabin, which is available in two versions. At the stern, a variant can be offered to suit different family configurations.
