The modern hull is inspired by the latest research in offshore racing. Architect Javier Soto Acebal's goal is to provide maximum stability, both lateral and longitudinal, while optimizing performance through an always well-balanced waterline length and wetted surface area. The slight chine combined with the elegant bow curvature resulting from this study greatly increases the usable volume. The forward cabin is truly impressive!

With the new Solaris 55, you'll naturally benefit from the brand's legendary structural robustness, resulting from three composite bulkheads laminated in a monobloc to the hull and deck, constructed using infused sandwich technology. Another Solaris secret: the keel with its lead bulb, and its extra-wide coupling platform integrated into the hull structure.

Solaris Yachts offers an optional Weldox stainless steel keel, whose sophisticated structure allows for a lighter sailboat. In this case, the ballast mass is increased, reducing the overall weight while enhancing righting moment. This option, paired with a carbon mast, will appeal to performance enthusiasts.

For port maneuvers, the two retractable thrusters with variable speed are highly effective!

Note also that the dinghy garage accommodates a model up to 2.70 meters, with launching facilitated by an opening platform exceeding 90°. Access to this platform is greatly simplified by three integrated steps in the hull.
