WILL BE DISPLAYED IN CANNES BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 9 AND 14, 2025!
The Solaris 60 was launched in 2020. This model will mark the way boats are built and designed and will influence sailing yacht design for the next ten years!
The Solaris 60 was born to be a Mini-Maxi, that is, a high-performance sailing yacht with an overall length of 18.31 meters. This allows it to compete in offshore regattas in the Mini-Maxi class, especially for the main Porto Cervo event.
The main innovation is found in the cockpit, where the steering wheels are located full width. This allows you to steer the boat without the intrusion of the sprayhood and even see the jib leech.
The depth of the bulwarks allows the lifelines to be lowered towards the stern and raised near the two steps. This solution is generally only used on very large boats, over 140 feet. Furthermore, the width of the steering wheels, even in port and during maneuvers, allows the helmsman to have an unobstructed view.
At the stern, adjustable seats are available, offering the possibility to steer even while seated.
Inside, a classic Solaris layout: a galley slightly hidden by two steps forward and for the first time two aft cabins with twin or double beds and a large porthole facing the interior of the cockpit. The owner's cabin forward is very large, with plenty of storage and the option to choose between a side or center bed.
Also noteworthy is the crew cabin forward, with a separate bathroom.
The garage for the tender with longitudinal access (3M) hardly encroaches on the aft cabins.
